We strive to always offer cheeses in prime condition along with excellent customer service.

We buy many of our cheeses directly from the cheese makers. When this is not possible, we use only high-quality wholesalers who respect our ethos and know that we are only prepared to buy the best. These include Neal’s Yard Dairy, The Oxford Cheese Company and W.G. White. We understand how cheeses ripen over time and so mature some cheeses ourselves to ensure their perfection at time of sale.

We do not want people to feel intimidated or confused by the large selection of cheeses on offer, so we always encourage customers to taste different cheeses so that they are happy with any purchase they finally make. We are pleased to pass on our knowledge about the cheeses we sell. This has resulted in our regular customers becoming increasingly discerning, thus ensuring that we are not allowed to become complacent!

We now sell "Loose" Olive Oil.

It is the most delicious Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Calabria. It has a light, fresh slightly "grassy" taste - perfect for salads and dipping. (Too good for ordinary cooking). Bring your own bottle, or we can sell you a proper dark green one with a cork for £2.50. Then the oil is just £5.00 per 500ml.
