Ducketts Caerphilly is an English, unpasteurised, hard, cows cheese.

Our aged Caerphilly is made by the lovely Tom Calver and his team at the Westcombe dairy in Somerset.

Despite its Welsh origins, Caerphilly has been made in the West Country since the 1800's by cheesemakers who needed some short term cash while their cheddars were slowly maturing.  Here at Grey's we believe that Westcombe makes the very best, it is clean and fresh with a bright lactic tang and the flavours of the fabulous grass upon which the farm's much-loved cows graze.

When ordering your online cheese for next day delivery, remember that the perfect cheeseboard comprises a hard cheese, a soft cheese and a blue cheese. you can also include a goat's cheese, a sheep's cheese or perhaps a washed rind cheese. A cheeseboard can be purely British cheeses or French cheese, Italian cheese, Spanish cheese or can be a combination of artisan cheeses from across the world.
