Gaperon is a French, unpasteurised, soft, flavoured cheese.

Gaperon is a lovely dome-shaped cheese from the Auvergne. It is flavoured with garlic and black pepper and is has been made in this region since the thirteenth century.

The flavourings make for most of the cheese's taste but the texture becomes softer and more buttery with age.
