Waterloo is an English, soft, pasteurised, vegetarian, brie style cheese.

Another one of our local Village Maid cheeses, Waterloo used to be made on the Duke of Wellington's estate, hence the name. The rich milk comes from a single herd of pedigree Guernseys near Henley, resulting in a beautiful buttery yellow cheese with grassy undertones.

The cheese can be chalky in the centre when young but becomes increasingly unctuous with age .
